The Y helped my family because we didn't have the money to pay. The Y gave my mom a scholarship for me to go to camp. My parents are split up and it's kind of hard for me to get into certain stuff that I want to do. It was so fun at Y camp. I want to come again soon. Thank you! --Grateful Camper
At the Y, we believe every child deserves experiences such as camping, swim lessons, leadership and mentoring, regardless of their family’s financial circumstances. Y programs build confidence, responsibility, and strengthen spirit, mind and body. These experiences stick with kids and help them grow into healthy, contributing adults.
At the Y, children and adults build health and well being and feel more connected and supported, especially at difficult times. This year our Y will give more than $500,000 in Y scholarships and help more than 2,500 people.
